Melissa joined Hazelview Investments in November 2022 as an Associate, Treasury. In her role with Hazelview, Melissa is responsible for managing the treasury team and the company’s treasury function with the primary focus on processing wires/transfers, banking, daily cash management and weekly cash forecasting, foreign exchange transactions, debt compliance reporting, recording and reconciling cash transactions.

Melissa most recently worked for The Governing Council of the Salvation Army in Canada as a Treasury Advisor where she was responsible for creating monthly cash forecasting & variance analysis. In addition, she completed Swap loan hedge documentations between fixed and floating interest rates. Prior to this, Melissa worked as a Cash Flow Manager at Blue diamond Hotels and Resorts Inc., where she managed global liquidity, submitted quarterly financial covenants & other reports to banks, documented internal processes and procedures, and ensured timely payments of bank loan principal and interest, DSRA, and other financing costs.

Melissa obtained a BBM in Accounting from Toronto Metropolitan University.
