Azhar joined Hazelview Investments in January 2023 as a Partner, Tax. In his role with Hazelview, Azhar is responsible for overseeing and managing the tax compliance process for all funds and working on special projects and HST matters.  

Azhar most recently worked as a Tax Manager at RSM LLP where he was responsible for detailed review and analysis of complex T2 corporate tax returns, T5013 partnership tax returns and T1134 returns in addition to supervising and training staff on his team. Prior to this, he worked at Ernst and Young LLP as a Senior Tax Staff where he was responsible for preparing and reviewing T2 corporate tax returns, T5013 partnership tax returns and T3 Trust tax returns.

Azhar obtained a CPA (Canada), CA (India) and a CPA (Australia).
