Peter Hawkings joined Hazelview in April 2013 as Managing Partner & General Counsel. In his role, Peter is responsible for overseeing all corporate legal aspects of Hazelview’s investment management business.

Peter has over 15 years of experience in corporate securities law. Prior to joining Hazelview, Peter practised law at Goodmans LLP in Toronto, where he acted for a wide variety of public and private issuers in the areas of corporate finance, mergers and acquisitions and securities law.

Peter holds a Juris Doctor from the University of Toronto Faculty of Law and a Bachelor of Arts in International Relations from the University of British Columbia. Peter is a member of the Law Society of Ontario.
