Daniel joined Hazelview Investments in January 2022 as an Associate on the Real Estate Development Team. In his current role as Partner, Real Estate Development, Daniel is responsible for supporting the development team with a variety of tasks associated with the successful execution of the real estate development pipeline by managing development projects from inception and feasibility through to planning approvals, full build out and occupancy. More specifically, Daniel manages development and acquisition opportunities, leads the financial underwriting process, creates proformas and development budgets, leads development financing and financing due diligence, leads investor reporting, manages portfolio cash flows, and manages planning approvals.

Daniel graduated from New York University with his Master of Science in Real Estate – Finance and Investment. Prior to this, Daniel worked at First National Financial as a Senior Analyst on the Commercial Financing team where he completed the underwriting for multi-family and commercial properties, wrote investor reports in order to get financing approval, and ensured loan requirements were met for timely funding of loans.

In addition to his Masters, Daniel obtained his Honours Specialization in Urban Development from the University of Western Ontario.
